About

The Mini Chamber Lander is a lightweight benthic lander unit for shallow-water deployments down to 300 m. It is designed for high-quality benthic chamber measurements of multiple parameters using the latest microsensor and data handling technologies. The system is fully automated and supports syringe-based water sampling and injection, in situ amplifiers, and data logging. It integrates multiple microsensors (O₂, H₂, N₂O, pH, H₂S) mounted in the chamber lid, and allows flexible configuration via PC software. Deployment is performed by lowering to the seafloor, where the chamber lid closes automatically to begin incubation. Sensor control, stirrer operation, and sampling sequences are programmable, and data are exported to a PC post-deployment for analysis.
