About
KC Denmark epibenthic sledge 19.770 is a rigid and robust seabed sampling system for collecting benthic and benthopelagic organisms as well as small stones and surface sediment. It consists of a rectangular stainless steel frame with two parallel rails and a large stabilizing fin that maintains steady orientation during tow operations. The sledge scrapes into the seabed, collecting organisms on or near the surface. The upper section is hinged to allow easy access for inspection and cleaning. Built in AISI 316 stainless steel and electro-polished for corrosion resistance, the sledge is suitable for marine deployments at any depth.
