About
The KC Denmark Ockelman sledge is a stainless steel seabed dredge designed for collecting samples of benthic organisms and sediment. It features a 30 x 15 cm opening positioned 3 cm above the seabed to minimize disturbance and maximize sample collection. The sledge includes an adjustable shovel plate with teeth, a 100 cm long nylon net bag (1000 µm mesh size), and a protective steel plate to shield the net. The solid net bag fastening allows easy replacement. The unit also includes a net bucket made from POM and AISI 316 stainless steel, featuring three offset windows covered by nets according to mesh size, with outer 10 mm steel mesh protection.
