About
KC Denmark Manta trawl net model 23.440 is a surface-sampling system used for collecting microplastic particles and other biological materials from the ocean surface. The system consists of a stainless steel frame fitted with a fine-mesh net and side-mounted wings that provide lift, keeping the opening at the water surface. The wings and bridle are adjustable to allow variations in sampling height. The sample cylinder is made of AISI 316 stainless steel and equipped with small buoyancy elements to maintain horizontal position during operation. It includes five windows covered by stainless steel mesh of the same mesh size as the main net.
