About
The KC Denmark Bongo Net (Model 23.300) consists of two ring nets mounted side by side for horizontal plankton sampling. Each conical plankton net has a small mesh width and a long funnel shape ending in a cod-end with a collection bucket. The dual design allows sampling with two different mesh sizes at the same time. The net frame and fixtures are made of AISI 316 stainless steel, and the net bags are made of Monodur Nytal (PA6.6 nylon). Optional accessories include a V-fin depressor made of cast brass (18 kg) and a stainless steel wire for towing. Each net can be equipped with a digital flow meter for accurate volume measurement. Standard delivery includes nets with mesh sizes 300 µm and 500 µm, with other sizes available on request.

Application
