About
The KC Denmark Plankton Net Ø40 cm (Model 23.010) is a medium-sized, versatile plankton net designed for collecting plankton samples in limnological and oceanographic studies. The upper part is made of strong Beaver Nylon, mounted with three polyester lines (Ø5 mm, 60 cm) and a bridle. The conical net bag has an upper diameter of 40 cm and a length of 100 cm, made of Monodur Nytal (PA6.6 nylon) mesh available in sizes from 20 µm to 500 µm. For ultra-fine collection between 5–15 µm, the variant 23.011 is available. The sample is collected in a detachable cylinder at the bottom, equipped with a valve for easy emptying. Multiple cylinder types are supported, including brass, ASA plastic, and transparent plastic bottles. A carrying bag for field transport is available.
