About

The KC Denmark Plankton Net Ø50 cm (Model 23.020) is a robust and efficient plankton collection tool for limnological and oceanographic sampling. The upper section of the net is made of strong Beaver Nylon and fitted with a 3-point bridle made from Ø5 mm polyester line, each 80 cm long. The conical net bag has an upper diameter of 50 cm and a length of 200 cm, made of Monodur Nytal (PA6.6 nylon) mesh, available in mesh sizes from 50 µm to 500 µm. A fine-mesh version (Model 23.020A) is also available with 20–40 µm mesh. The overall length of the assembled system is 280 cm. The net includes a detachable collecting bucket (Model 23.023) for easy sample retrieval. All KC Denmark plankton nets are available in various sizes and configurations upon request.
