About

The small plankton net Ø25 cm is a lightweight, conical net used for plankton collection. The net bag has an upper diameter of 25 cm and a length of 40 cm, made of Monodur Nytal (Nylon) with mesh sizes from 20 to 500 µm (ordering no. 23.000) or 5–15 µm (ordering no. 23.002). The sample is collected via a valve at the bottom of the sample cylinder. Multiple cylinder options are available, including chromium-plated brass, ASA plastic, or transparent collecting bottle. An adapter enables use with glass bottles. A digital flow meter can be attached for volume measurement.
