About

The WP3 plankton net Ø113 cm is designed for quantitative plankton sampling in accordance with international standards. It is similar to the WP2 model but larger, offering a mouth opening of 1.0 m². The net is constructed from AISI 316 stainless steel and fitted with a conical Monodur Nytal (Nylon) net bag, 200 cm long, with a standard 1000 µm mesh size (other sizes available on request; minimum recommended 200 µm). The WP3 is equipped with loops for optional digital flow meter and Nansen release mechanism for controlled depth sampling.
