About
The KC Denmark plankton pump for 6000 m depth is designed for vertical plankton sampling in extreme ocean depths. Built from AISI 316 stainless steel, the system operates on 24 V DC power and can pump up to 13,500 liters per hour. It is equipped with a 60 µm net bag as standard (other mesh sizes available upon request) and includes a quick-change system for collecting bottles, enabling rapid sample exchange. The pump supports the optional KC Denmark digital flow meter (23.095) for monitoring water volume and can be powered by a pressure-stable battery cylinder rated to 4000 m (100.217) or 6000 m (100.226).
