About

The KC Denmark Niskin Mini Rosette (model 60.060) is a compact water sampling rack designed for up to 12 non-metallic Niskin bottles, each with capacities of 300, 600, or 1000 ml. The rack is made entirely from AISI 316 stainless steel and features a motor-driven release system powered by 24 V DC. The electronic control system includes a sleep mode, enabling deployments of up to 12 months with the standard battery. Longer immersion times are supported using larger battery cylinders. The system supports manual triggering, time-lapse triggering, and optional pressure activation. The control software provides sampler status, battery voltage, and motor current monitoring. The design also allows mounting of a CTD rack for integrated water quality measurements.
